Comparing Different Blogs

Blogs can be descriptive and informative to any topic. For example, creating a blog post on 5 facts about how coffee can make you live longer is a simple post rather than reading a more complex post about a political issue. Blogs can present controversial topics to the most simplest life hacks. Tips and suggestions seem to be a common type of blog for people to use as a source of convenience. Today we will review two different types of successful, popular blogs that use only a primary genre for the structure of their blogs: PsyBlog and Digital Photography School.

PsyBlog

PsyBlog is user-friendly, interesting and informative blog that is considered one of my favorite “to-go” sites. It consists only of psychological articles that are based on facts. In this type of blog, opinions are left unseen as some of the articles contain statistical, scientific research. Indeed, if you are the type of person who enjoys ironic puns, drastic psychological research and how life functions through the eyes of each person, then this blog is the one for you. Psyblog is loaded with descriptive information but at times can be repetitive. Therefore, if your the type of person who enjoys a blog that is more blunt to the point, or laid-back, then PsyBlog may be a bit too informative for your taste. Everyone has different tastes to what they enjoy reading. PsyBlog introduces a new taste unlike other blogs. Try it out!

Digital Photography School

Some blogs use one topic as their primary genre of choice. PsyBlog uses their genre of psychology. Digital Photography School is similar but different with the use of tips for photographers. Digital Photography School is interesting because there are hardly no other blogs like this one. In fact, you can get all the basic tips to taking efficient photographs just by reading their articles. It’s informative and helpful to those who love taking pictures and their audience is aimed strictly to photographers. As an aspiring photographer myself, this blog is the best I’ve seen in regards to tips and suggestions. If you like photography, then this is the blog for you. If you only like looking at photos, then you can also enjoy the fantastic photos that are taken by different people who use the site. Enjoy!

My Blog Expectations

Many blogs are interesting to view. As this becomes the first, official blog of the day, I plan to use Penzman for the review of political and world issues that occur around us. Controversy can be fun in revealing facts that some may not know. It can help introduce new ideas along with growing knowledge about certain subjects. Although some may be controversial, I plan to use statistical research as PsyBlog used their research to support the claims that are made. In the posts, Penzman will use photos that relate to the topic. In all respect for those who read the articles, feel free to comment your thoughts and speak freely on the subjects.
